Kamoi McWhinney

Elevating my time alone with God - practical applications

Kamoi is a worship leader, youth mentor, public servant, daughter, sister, and most importantly, loved.

Raised in a Christian household, Kamoi made the decision to follow God on November 27, 2011, and has not looked back since.

Kamoi began leading worship at the age of 16, and simultaneously found herself pouring into the lives of youth in her church. God continued to transform the gifts and interests He gave her into opportunities to show His glory. As her relationship grew, so did her love for those both inside and outside of the church, with a calling to have a tangible impact on the lives of people.

This in part led her to pursue a career in the space of Indigenous policy, looking for opportunities to do as it states in Isaiah 1:17 “Learn to do good; seek justice, correct oppression; bring justice to the fatherless, and please the widows cause.”

Whether in vocational ministry, or serving as a public servant, Kamoi desires to see His will be done in every season of her life and in whichever way He leads.
