Hi Bethel family,

I’m kindly asking for prayer regarding my current situation. I’m almost 30 and still struggling to support myself financially. I rely on my family for help, but this has come with emotional abuse and constant negative comments especially comparisons to other people my age who are financially stable.

Over the past year, I’ve done my best to find a job, but I keep facing rejection. To make matters more difficult, my work permit expires in December, and I haven’t been able to secure a job that qualifies me for permanent residency. Unless there are policy changes which seem unlikely at the moment I may be forced to return home, where I’d be going back to a very abusive environment with my mother who controls me to the point of not even allowing me to go to church.

I’m desperately praying for a miracle for financial independence for both myself and my sister, and for God to make a way regarding my work permit. Thank you so much for lifting me up in prayer.
